The Urinator Troubleshooting
With over 25 years of reliable service, we at The Urinator, believe that our customers are our top priority. This guide will hopefully answer any urinator questions you may have.
The Urinator is just like any other product out there.
If it is taken care of and properly cleaned, it is designed to last for years and many uses.
When you are finished using the device or are changing out the batteries you should take care to pry the terminals off with your thumb or use a plastic ink pen to pry them off. This seems to be one of the most common calls that we receive. Just like with anything else, if it doesn’t seem to be working with you, the WORST thing to do is try to force it. Just adjust your approach and carefully try again.
DO NOT PULL OR PULL THE BATTERY WIRES TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERIES.
The Urinator battery terminals are not soldered on so you don’t have to worry about faulty solder joints. The connections are physically stamped on (not soldered). Every device is thoroughly tested for temperature regulation and any possible physical defects. Please don’t let your dog chew on it and expect it to have a long life. Take care of it and it should provide you with a lifetime of reliable service. We started selling The Urinator in 1998. We just had a man get another one. He originally purchased his Urinator in 1999. It still worked. He had used it too many times to count.
Here is a picture of a vintage 1998 Model of The Urinator that was recently returned to our company it worked for over 25 years. We got rid of the on/off switch and made the electronics much smaller. Due to solid-state surface mount technology, the temperature is not variable anymore and is ROCK SOLID 98 Degrees Every time.

Do you need instructions on how to use The Urinator? Here is a video that was made in 2004. It is as relevant today as it was then.

Note: Although many of these products are marketed toward drug testing scenarios, The Urinator, Urinator BT, and Urinator Brand (Dr. Johns) Synthetic Urine are all developed, marketed and sold for the purpose of protecting your genetic information in employment testing scenarios, not for circumventing drug test results.
